The SL30-ISO® profile is one of MHB's most recent innovations. It is a slim-framed steel profile system that makes use of the specific qualities of steel to create a very slim yet strong and durable profile that is 100% wind and watertight and has insulation values few others are able to match.
The SL30-ISO® profile system enables architects to ‘play’ with light, air and space – the 3 basic elements of the Bauhaus style. Ideal for new, contemporary designs, but also used to renovate historical buildings that do not meet today’s technological performance standards. Thanks to MHB’s window systems, heritage buildings can be made future-proof while still maintaining their authentic character.

|Glazing||Double Insulated Units (as requested by the designer) are fixed using a choice of different 0.47 inch high metal glazing beads. Glazing is sealed using a MHB Sealant.|
Aluminum L-Shaped glazing beads for minimalist design. Designed by MHB, these glazing beads are fixed to the profile using invisible connections and then are powder-coated using the same finish as the window frame.
Steel L-Shaped glazing beads for minimalist design. These are fixed to the profile with visible countersunk screws and are then powder-coated using the same finish as the window frame.
Aluminum triangular glazing beads are designed for a classical look and are fixed to the profile using invisible connections.
There are three ways to divide glass elements into smaller units, which are usually done for aesthetic reasons.
This system divides window units with several smaller glass panels separated by steel profiles. All of MHB's glazing bead systems can be used fitted with this system, including the putty seal below.
Another solution to divide window units is to place muntins and grilles on both sides of the glass. the appearance is identical to the true divided lights because a spacer is built inside the insulated glass. This solution offers better insulation and for casement windows it increase the stability.
All simulated light solutions have a flat grill welded on one side that makes one element with the frame. The sightline is only 3/4" inches wide.
Grille System with an extremely slim appearance. EL Tray is exclusively used in combination with L-shaped glazing beads with visible fixing points.
